According to BCS Nottingham it went for over £20 K but they couldn't be exact on the price. There was suppose to have been a reserve @ £24 K but it didn't materialize. I know the owner of OW03 USJ was DESPERATE to sell it and must have panicked last minute. How do I, know U may ask. I was going to bid on it over the phone, having done my homework on this car but BCA rules prohibit non car dealers to do that. My search for a SG CSL continues. BTW HI to all, I'm a NEW member, CSL less at the mo. B-(

It seems the SG CSL OW03 USJ is back on the market after being SOLD through BCA Nottingham last week for around £22 K. A dealer called "Swancar of Loughborough" are now marketing it @ £23 950, after SYTNER BMW of Leicester failed to sell it for a much higher £28 500. All dealers seem to be banging on about the second hand market picking up but my observation is they are simply working to much lower profit margins these days. SORRY to go on about this one but I nearly had this CSL for £22 K prior to the Auction, having been told if it didn't reach it's reserve of £24 K, I would have first refusal. Strangely, when I quizzed BCA about there being a reserve, they said there wasn't one ?!?! Hmmmm ?

Final update ( I promise ) on OW03 USJ, the SG CSL that went trough the BCA halls few weeks back. Having rung Swancar of Loughborough to arrange a viewing, I have been told that they have now SOLD this car (yesterday 9th of Oct. '09) to it's NEW owner. They didn't make MUCH profit on it as they paid £22 800 + some small fees and were asking a VERY reasonable £23 950 which they got, only a week after buying it from the Auction. It was interesting to have a quick chat with the sales chap (a very well spoken, honorable fellow) who commented very favorably about this particular CSL. In his own words ( ... it's as if someone has taken the whole vehicle apart and rebuild it, with NEW parts, absolutely everything, down to nuts & bolts, washer etc . Incredible for any car, but especially one that is 6 years old and has covered 60K from NEW. This one will stay in my mind for a long time)
THE END :bigcry:
