Did you manage without taking the bumper off? Any pointers appreciated.

Offside flipper off and a 'Gaffer Tape' patch, sorted!
I noticed that the bottom of the bottle was cracked when I took the flippers off for 'MarkCSL' to re-lacquer. |

You can get to the motors from the wheel arch
here is the bottle with the bumper off it takes 20min to remove the bumper if you have the tools  |

Easiest way to get to that filler pipe is to actually take the indicator out
But yes you can actually take the filler bottle out without removing the bumper - it's the bottom trim arch that you remove - which is piss easy ( 2 plastic rivets, 4 x 8mm screws and it's out in no time. |
It looks like I have found the problem...
http://i1333.photobucket.com/albums/...psitakwt9k.jpg I have put the pipe back on, thinking about it I should have tried to blow it through to make sure there was no blockage, I guess I will find out soon enough. It did look like the rubber seals on the motors might be leaking very slightly so I will have to look at these at some point. MC |
