Me too! I was thinking of a heading South after the event. Driving trip through Alps, into Italy and round to my folks house near Apt via La Route Napoleon and Mount Ventoux.

its like this, only so many man trips allowed per year so if bringing the misses on the main trip then treating her to a few days somewhere nice means another allocation later in the year then it is well worth it.

That said im not sure my gruppe m is going to be suitable :hahaha:

That's not to mention: Bahrain, Cyprus, Finland, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, Luxemburg, Malaysia, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, Turkey and the United States.

You'd have thought that the other Euro's, would have signed up given the nature of this event. :supz:

Forgot all about poor old Austria and their non participation - surprising, not quite as far as some which you can't realistically expect to attend, I'm sure they will be with us in spirit though.

Well to be fair to the US, that have a slight excuse! Although Juan Pablo Nascar could have made an effort alright ;)

Just an update for the record;

The HOMECOMING trip to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the CSL in the 40th year of M Division will take place on 26th to 28th May 2013.

The plan is to meet in Munich in the evening of Saturday 25th and spend two days visiting BMW Classic museum, BMW Weld and Museum, M Division Design Studio and a BMW production facility all kindly arranged with BMW M Division.

Then we head up to to the Salzburgring, not far away in Austria with BMW driver training and 3 of their cars for a track day on Tuesday 28th.

(confirmed details of all this with hotel links and booking for all events will be up here in the new year).

We have 79 CSLs potentially coming so far and we are about to contact every CSL owner in the UK and hopefully Europe to let them know as well.

Sounds great Shimmy, so what about the ring & spa? Suppose that is an individual thing if anyone wants to go there?

Thing to justify this past the board (misses) I might as others are doing see about heading on somewhere else for a few days after.

i think for now a 3 days trip is about enough to organise but then as we individually arrange to go out and back, we can add whatever we want including Ring, Spa and Pasha :beer:. or in your case John Lewis fragrance dept:-D

Andrew 12-12-2012 12:21 AM

do you have to be in CSL to come?

Can I pretend my E92 M3 is a csl and tag along? :)
