I has an inspection on my new Cesil which showed a slight crack on the subframe/boot floor, I agreed to buy the car and sort this myself.
Having visited Bluebell BMW today they have booked it in to inspect and said they've had loads in recently, I asked about a courtesy car and was told they don't supply a car for warranty work! Is this standard practise?

I've no issue with their work, they did a top job on a previous car but I will need a courtesy car.
Where abouts do you live Dave?

Do you have a copy of the Document I referred to on the other 'Subframe Pole' thread in the Technical Area.
Page 4, of this document refers to reimbursement for the costs of a courtesy car, which the Dealer can claim back from BMW.
It's not like Blue Bell to refuse, they obviously don't want to undertake the fix.
Sounds as though you might have to tell them what your rights are, PM me your email and I'll send you a copy of the doc. :supz:

I know Blue Bell Wilmslow/Handforth Dean have loads of love & respect for csl for long time and service manager knows them well the 7 yrs I've been going there. imo outside of Elms with Gareth et al this is the place to go.

I've just been reading about the subframe fix and on a few posts it seems some people have to contribute to the repair, aside from that someone also mentioned that you need to budget for around 1k to replace bushes etc! Is this true?
