Well after nearly three months looking I finally pulled the trigger on my first cecil on Thursday. I am absolutely astonished at how good this car is, I knew it would be focused but every drive is an occasion and an assault to the senses..
I have had a normal M3, and several high powered Evo's amongst other cars and I can safely say the Cesil blows them out of the water. The build quality, the driving position, the noise (wow the noise), I am finding myself coming home, sitting there for 10 mins then asking if we need anything else from the shop, obviously taking the long way around.
Picked my lad up last night from school, didn't tell him id bought it, his grin was a picture. The when I opened the taps (he calls it super boost) the giggles were nearly as loud as the intake.
My only real gripe is I don't want to be putting loads of miles on it so need to stay out of it... Hmmm, reckon I could sleep in it?? Actually, there is one other thing, Cups and rain doesn't mix, couple of twitchy arse moments all ready.
Anyway, enough waffling, she is calling again... the car not the wife :)

Cheers Lads, it really was worth the wait.. I do need to put some other tyres on though, slightest power and I get slip with the cups.

They are porsche sizes. Rears a little beefy for cesil's. ;)
Congrats KPNUTZ pleased to see you found one. Enjoy :)
Well done!
I'm 5 weeks in and still in love :-D I've just finished a job and was going to go for a spin (it's been 3 days since I last drove it) but it's started to rain. I'm trying to save it for dry days but I don't know how long that will last :-D
I can't see myself ever not being so impressed with these cars

I know, I had all good intentions of saving it for best and only using if dry but the force is strong in this one, just need my fix.
Think my son loves it as much as me, he's already said I'm not to sell it!
I went for a drive earlier (again) and stopped at stratstone and Porsche to ogle the metal, one of the salesmen actualy stood at the window checking out Cesil. Those in the know appreciate it obviously.

Enjoy! I'm 5 months in with 6,000 miles done, replacement head gasket, booked in for subframe crack but love the car to bits, especially after I adjusted the seats! Best car ever, well done! :supz:

Yep, seat adjustment is top of my list, the standard position is too upright for me. Also stripping the wheels off to seal and to blast the wheel arches but might wait for nicer weather.

:smokin: Enjoy. Put a good sounding exhaust and it will make you smile even more. I tingle every time I come back from a blast in the CSL. Nothing in my stable does that. Even my LP has difficulty making me smile like the CSL does. You will need this side of a F430/FCS/Scud or F458 to get that feeling, atleast I got them when I drove them.
Its a great car. :smt055
