Hi all, been advised via PistonHeads to ask here - can anyone point me in the direction of a good, straight CSL? Currently waiting until end of May for my new car to be built/delivered and got itchy feet - hence hoping someone can steer me in the right direction, or as equally important, advise me of any cars to avoid! feel free to pm me. Cheers.

I had the same itch the end of last year..... Best thing I've done in a long long time.

I think it's take a ticket time on here at the moment. You're probably about 9th in the queue I'd say!

Saying that, if anyone wants to straight swap for a 964 RS, let me know ;) I might even throw in the ferry tickets for Munich in May :-D

But alas not a 964 RS to swap by the sounds of things, so I'm out ;)

Best of luck with the search, and if you get one sorted soon get yourself onto the Munich trip if the book is still open

Sorry Leins, no 964 RS :)

can't decide between 'upping' the budget and looking for a low-miler, or buy one with 50-60k on the clock. As a 2nd car it'll prob do approx 3-4k miles/yr (if i keep it). Mmmm

Have you driven one yet? I spotted one 50 miles from me and went for a test drive as I had a day off work. I put down a deposit pretty soon after and looked into selling my E46 M3 and Mk1 Escort Mexico. It's the best car I have owned and wont be going anywhere for a very long time, they are fantastic cars that have to be driven to be believed :supz:

Demand seems to be outstripping supply at the moment though !

No. Don't think i'll be disappointed though

A mate of mine has had 2, would have another, and deeply regrets selling his last one (BM04 CSL). I kick myself for not buying it at the time...18k miles SG. Apparently got totalled :(

Ive owned mine nearly 3 years and never played a CD, and when I collected it from the previous owner it didnt have any radio stations tuned in. :-D
