HI guys, my oem suspension are gone, and the top mounts front and rear, i am thinking of what to do with it, i drive mostly on road and go on track may be once a year, should i stay with oem again, or go for something slightly better, any recommend?

Thanks in advance

Ive been wondering the same.

Eibach with Koni seems popular. KW V3 or PSS9 at twice the price.

I dont know if any match up with uprating arbs too?

KW V3 is a good road set-up.

Are your top mounts gone?

I've had eibach's and KW V3 on an e36 M3. The Eibach's weren't too bad but the KW V3 were very good and made the Eibach stuff seem poor in comparison.

Personally I like the OEM suspension on the CSL. It's perfect for road and the odd trackday. How much are the OEM at the dealers? Expensive I'd imagine

the oem shock front and rear is around 1000-1200usd here in hk

for the rear mount should i get RE's rear top mount?

Ohlins now do a kit, a new product and can be found at Demon Tweeks for a lot less than you would expect for an Ohlins product !!

I was about to write that :)
The new ohlins road and track kit is a very good solution.

I will open a thread later on

Also there is a group buy running on these on cutters at the moment.

About 2.5k iirc for e46.

Im tempted by the koni. As its kind cheap option, retains almost stock ride but a bit more taught for odd trackday.

I don't think the GB on cutters will happen, the prices are way too high to be honest, they are not that far from retail.

You can knock at least £500 off that price if you tried from certain suppliers.

As others have previously said, I'd agree with previous comments and go with KW V3 over the Koni stuff, having had them on my old E46 M3, they were the best kit for the road i've ever used imo, plus you can adjust it to how you want it fairly easily.
