Ring trip May 2nd 2009

I know there is an Easter trip planned, and there is talk of another trip being planned in June/July, but........

I am going out for the weekend of May 2nd & 3rd.

There are (so far) 7 cars getting the ferry from Newcastle to Amsterdam on Friday 1st, arriving on Saturday morning. Then a nice blast done to the ring to get a couple of hours track time.

Sunday open all day.

Return Monday to get the ferry back Monday evening, arriving Newcastle Tuesday morning.

There are some cars going from the South, on the ferry/train (tbc). Leaving Saturday morning and we will meet up with them en route somewhere.

So for those that cannot make the other trips, or just cannot get enough, the more the merrier!!!!! :beer:

Going from Hull - Zeebrugge. We are meeting the 'Southern' attendees en-route in Ghent mid-morning on the Saturday. How does that does sound for you?

And, it looks like we might be joining you at Spa on the Monday!!! :beer:

We won't get alongside Dunkirk until around 1230 local time so wouldn't be passing Ghent til gone 1330ish? I'm sure we will catch up over the weekend though! :thumbs:

Same as last April when you had the Jag (fastest car on the 'ring 2008! :-D )! Only this time we are also doing a track day at Spa on the way back on Monday, and getting the Tuesday boat back.

i will be in the ring at this moment, arriving saturday evening.....or maybe friday afternoon, to see the dtm revival with the french,belgium and swiss M3 E30 guys, and to pratice powerslide(:wanker:) on saturday (end of the day) and sunday.

where are you sleeping ? i will be in the hotel rieder ( http://www.hotel-rieder.de/index.html ) , not far from the ring (about 5/6 kms, good to warm up the engine), also good price and very good meal.......

I'm going with 10 guys from the Tyresmoke.net forum on the 1-5th May, also the Spa trackday on Monday :beer:

Will be catching the 2pm ferry on Friday from Dover to Calais then off to Bruges for the night. Saturday afternoon and all day sunday at the Ring :thumbs:

Plus i think we are stopping at the Ringhaus on Sat&Sun too, so keep your eyes piggled for a pi$$ed up armless guy :blalalala:

Just get yourself the Ringhaus booked and jump on the ferry crossing with me 2pm from Dover on Friday 1st May. We are stopping a night in Belgium then travelling down saturday morning for a few afternoon laps :)
