What's your preference guys? Would you say SG command more than black?

Who's got black? Lets see some shots! ..........

The SG command more money than the shi* black ones the reason behind this is because they are FASTER , i thinking of getting a black one to put it in the garage in a year or so time and leave it there so i have the best of both worlds , slow 1:birdman: faster 1:-D , hope this helps

I prefer SG but if a black one came up I think I could be swayed if mint......

Are prices really affected? :119:

Personally, I went for the SG to highlight the CF roof and flippers, also I feel the SG shows off the CSL's curves moreso than the black. They're both two minted colours and compliment the CSL in their own ways but I just prefer the SG.

In case you weren't aware, the SB is more rare wih only circa 100 UK cars in SB BT over 300 in SG so might command more money, but they're slower so that kind of offsets it a bit...

+1.. When I was looking I didn't think the carbon on the black stood out.
+ the SG is quicker :gayfight:

The black don't seem to command more £££ although less of them. I think more people want the SG so it levels out

I have always wanted a Silver Grey Metallic Paint one rather than a Sapphire Black Metallic Paint one because you can see the carbon fibre components much more easily and BMW UK (161BMW) and BMW AG have one. However, maybe I may have a Sapphire Black one to kind of match a Carbon Black Metallic Paint M3 CS Coupe :-)

Pardon my ignorance but what is the SB? Thought there was just silver grey or black? Is SB short for the black?:)

New to this world don't forget! :notworthy:

SB = Sapphire Black . I struggled with that before buying one ! Simple really .
SG = Silver Grey

I wouldn't have bought a black one regardless . It had to be SG :-)

Unless you can prove (via passport) that you're scottish, I would advise against buying one. It's common knowledge that anyone south of the border that has a SB car has contracted "the ghey"...this is their last owners meet:

Too late you have started it now.

Personally I would have gone for a black one but back in 2007 when I chose one and nearly bought W1 TAK's (I think that was his user name and number plate - of Milton Bloomin' Keynes). He in his ultimate wisdom rang me up the next day to say that he had changed his mind. So I bought another forum member's. A thoroughly nice chap from Purley or such like. His fortunately or not as the case may be was Silver Grey.

Anyway if there had been a choice it would have been a black manual and NOT paddle shift.......kevlar on, hatches battoned. "They don't like it up 'em"
