View Full Version : S33CSL / A272 / Very 'talented' driver
S33CSL

As a massive CSL fan (nearly bought one), I had the pleasure of following S33 CSL (complete with yellow wheels) along the a272 today at around 16:00.
Now, apologies - I don't wish to break any forum rules... But:
You and your mate in the white GT3 drive 'interestingly'- overtaking on blind bends, 6 or 7 cars at a time, over double white lines etc etc.
I maybe hadn't appreciated that the A272 could be hired out as your personal race track, particularly when it is full of traffic....
Otherwise, nice car.

Yeah... I thought the same mate. Sounds like Mr Plod phishing on here for the owner/driver of before mentioned S33 CSL, waiting for them to say " Yeah, that was me " and incriminate themselves in the process

Although mr plod probably has ANPR and is more likely to stop them there or go round their house than join an internet forum. Anyway, plod is too busy getting free Chinese takeaways this time on Saturday.
More like one of the PH crowd from Advanced Driving forum :)

Interesting.... but what if Mr Plod was driving a slow " Jam Sandwich " without any of the Big Brother equipment on board, all on his own ?

The thing is S33CSL, the perception/view of an overtake from another vehicle is quite different from the seat of said overtaking vehicle. What looks dangerous from your driving seat may be perfectly OK and planned from the vehicle overtaking (different view/position on road etc) Causing other road users to take avoiding actions is another thing altogether, but as this was not mentioned I would probably put it down to the former.

Strange username for a wannabee, sorry but nearly doesn't cut the mustard.
Come back when you've got one, they we can have a proper discussion on the merits of advanced driving skills :hahaha:
Newbie 'mjf' has just purchased an ex-police CSL in NZ, strange this should turn up on the same day as he joined :smokin:coincidence or what?
If I didn't know better, I might be inclined to think this could be one of the 'Specials' not constables: 'SpecialKev' or his brother 'SpecialTrev' perhaps even his cousin 'SpecialDev' :blalalala: but I heard they'd emigrated.
Just to finish 'Plod' would never admit to being 'Plod' on any open forum. For that breach of professional conduct, he could end up being severely reprimanded http://www.thedawgpound.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/beatcop_smiley_emoticon.gif

This post was only 1 hour after your first one - so "Police" admitted to being rumbled after only 1 hour?
Sounds like a pile of poo to me.....and you've been back online today, so if the "campaign" had been rumbled - why are you still visiting the site, instead of catching baddies?
