View Full Version : New member and help needed
Hi everyone,
I purchased a CSL a few days ago here in New Zealand. It's a Sep 2003 built car that has done 36Km. It has an interesting history as its been in a police impound for 4 years as a seized asset under our proceeds of crime legislation.
It came up for auction and I think I got it for a good price (50k NZD).
It has a few minor scratches and marks, but overall in good condition. It is quite a "light" specification with no xenons, no radio, no PDC and it was delimited from the factory. It does have A/C though.
Now for some help! As it was seized etc, somewhere along the line the manuals have gone missing. I wold ideally like to purchase a set of CSL manuals if anyone knows of any around, but in the short term would like to get my hands on an electronic version of the CSL supplement manuals. Can anyone help please??
Cheers

Hi Matt and Welcome to the register.
2 members are currently breaking CSL: 'lawsy' and 'Bones' I'd send them a pm and ask if they still have the manuals available.
When you get the chance say hello to NZ M3, he might be able to assist, he's your local CSL expert.:supz:

In addition, keep your eye on eBay. Certainly seen a couple of the alcantara wallets.
Would be worth trying some of these folks listed here http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=automotive+books&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-gb&client=safari

Interesting.....
Ive got the m3 handbook, but not the supplementary csl one.
Is it worth buying one?
Csl in New Zealand must be nice!

Hi and welcome to a CSL. You certainly got a tremendous bargain, congratulations.
I have emailed NZ_M3 to view your link so I expect you will hear from Tom soon. Will you wish to come up to Auckland for a trackday at Hampton Downs? Tom and I enjoy Pukekohe more for the high speed bumpy sweeper but as closed for the upgrades we are thinking of aday at Hamptons soon.

Hi and thanks.
I usually do track days in my GT3 at Taupo as I'm based in Napier. If I do head to AKL for a day I'll certainly be in touch.
Cheers

Yeah only 36km (19-20 miles).
As it sat in a police impound for 3-4 years it's sat around doing not much for ages.
