OK so what brake fluid would you recommend. I have braided hoses, or will do soon thanks to Dave1, but standard discs with EBC red stuff pads.

i use ate blue mainly cause you know when you have flushed it through also ate have been in the brake business for a long time

I used Halfords Dot 5.1 but would use ATE blue next time for the reason above. I didn't know when the system was flushed through. I went through a whole bottle, is that enough anyone?

Going to do them again anyway as I'm not 100% sure.

I was warned off SRF on the CSL as apparently is can eat the seals in the brake system so have avoided it thus far, always used it before on other cars, great stuff. having said that you can use the AP super dot 4 stuff and change it every 8-10 weeks for the same cost as having SRF and changing it every 6 months as you are supposed to.

another reason i went for ATE as they make calipers master cylinders and pistons so there going to make a seal friendly performance fluid

AHHHH...Was hoping all would agree...Can't get on the Opieoils site for some reason. ATE is coming out favourable at the moment or maybe SRF...Nathans thoughts are a bit of a put og though as far as SRF is concerned.

Will only do around 2ish track days a year so most the time the car is used as everyday transport and the ATE seems to suit that from what I've read. Also how much will I need...ltr?

I only ever run Castrol ATF - wouldnt want to risk anything else, though i have ran ATE blue in the past without any issues :)
