i'm going to be purchasing a exhaust for mine in the next few weeks. i was initially going to get a supersprint race. but after looking at the eisenmann boxes i perfer the tail pipe design slightly more and it seems to retain the m3's rasp a bit better.

has any one on here had experience with the eisenmann exhaust? if so any drone from them and what kind of db's do they tend to read?

Dave,
I have been running an Eisenmann Race back box on the CSL for about 2 years now. Comfortable noise level at motorway speeds and never had a problem on track with the noise police.
Cheers,
Grant

Milltek ??
i'd ruled out a milltek due to weight, as the standard box its very heavy and i'd heard the milltek is'nt far behind and also causes a drone at curtain rpm's :smt017

iv'e had Eisenmann fitted for about 18 months can be a bit dronny at 3000 rpm but above that sweet as , it will not disappoint if u want to listen first hand pm me
honestly I think most of them sound quite similar.
Had various brands on different vehicles and all I can say is the brand will affect when reselling only.
Recently got a Wilson Engineering exhaust which is a replica of the Agency Power exhaust and its sounds same as the agency. Quality is right up there as they OE for various so called German/Japanese brands.
Drones at 2K-2.5K and after that its sweet.
Power delivery is very smooth and its great fun waking up my town. :birdman:
Here is the exhaust.
