Hum... Got to be a way to do it. Some sort of mould to get the shape that wont leave a residue or something.

I was thinking along the cling film route as it will not stick to the seat and if it sticks to the resin it will be on the inside so wont be seen :whistle:

Can't be that difficult CA only charge £25 for fitting, what does that equate to 15mins. probably.
Don't know why BM didn't do this in the first place, would have made the interior trim more uniform in appearance, cost cutting on a 60K car doesn't make sense.

Been out in the garage again as i was pissed off doing it for a few weeks after a balls up i made of a set but the production is on again :thumbs:

here is a quick picture of the gear surround with one coat of resin on it
the second picture is a set i have just added the clear coat it just needs sanding and a polish :-D
