Hi does anyone know what is involved in renewing an expired warranty?
Do I call BMW with the car details ? or call the Warranty company? been told its Mondial ?
Any ideas on the cost as well....

Any ideas on the cost as well....Hi mate,if I were you I would go to the BMW warranty web site,look up the cover you would like,as there are loads of options.Then phone them and tell them you would like to renew a lapsed warranty.Cant tell you the cost options as there are so many,which also increase after 60k miles and you also have the option of BMW breakdown cover.

thanks a lot.. exactly what I was looking for... seems reasonable till you hit the 60k Miles mark...

My cars warranty had lapsed but they took it on no problems £73 a month had to pay first month with no cover then all fine :thumbs:

Forgot to say you can pay monthly,sorry I don't know the costs.;)

Don't they say somewhere on the forum if you pay monthly it will never lapse or be questioned

partly right

pay monthly and the policy runs until you cancel it or stop paying and therefore remains at original rate, but your claims over policy lifetime is limited to your second hand purchase value

pay yearly and policy is renewed every year hence when you go above 60k miles the policy cost will rise to the over 60k mile rate. in theory your claim limit is the second hand purchase price of the car but EVERY YEAR

I bought mine back in 2006 so I might just have enough Credit left ........ Tip to anybody claiming, get an invoice ofr £35k made up ready to send over!
