Thats an old one Yantom not the SPort version, 6 years older than mine so get a proper check on her. Those wheels will be added as not used until 1999. 4.0 litre not 4.4.

So prob a bit overpriced but if it is a good one then why not

I think he is going to use it as the wedding carriage :)
Don't rule out 728i Sport Yanto. Not as much power it better mpg and more around. I'd stick to 1999-2001 cars if I were you.

It's BROWN
Admittedly not the best colour for the Iconic 500E, Blue-Black being the choice colour :smokin: but still miles better Barge than the flaky 7 :)
Pic of my one I imported from Germany back in 2007
Bmw 850i ? One on ebay near me  Any interested & I will have a look before you make a trip down

Not a fan of these. Styling looks 100years old :banghead:
7series looks nice (gangster spec) but 728 will be very steady!

They're not for everyone Sy ;) Looks & Styling are very much in the eye of the beholder + you don't buy the 500E for it's looks, rather for its superior build quality, surprising straight line speed and overall Stealthyness :smokin:
In my eyes, the early E38 7s look like they belong @ the DHSS car park on the Giro day ;) + as I mentioned before they are a bit flaky by comparison to the 500E.
Later 7s (1999-2001) like Shimmy's are a bit better.

I've gotta say that at that kind of money and age I'd be looking for a completelyloaded one with full media pack and so on. They are incredible value (so long as nothing goes wrong that is!).
A mate of mine had a 99 (V) 735i V8 in silver with black leather and electric everything, TX, NAV etc etc and it was a superb car. He enjoyed a number of Le Mans trips in that car. I'd drive down in the E30 M3 S.E. and he'd roll down in that. I'd arrive eyes on stalks and shaking and he'd just be chilled - it's travelling Jim, but not as we know it :supz:
They also had porn on the DVD player, which I couldn't quite match in the M3.........
