That is the ex-UK car. He won't get that for it. At the very least he is $20K over in price IMO. I wish him all the best though as it keeps prices up for the rest of us.

It must be cheaper for a Oz buyer to buy in UK & ship it / re' reg it in Oz??

I know nothing about it but im sure it doesn't cost 20k+ to do so? :mad:

Not that easy. The Government has some strict rules to try and prevent grey imports from coming in, in order to protect the local market. Basically you need to have owned the car continuously for 12 months showing that it has been your daily drive and that you have been living overseas. You then need to show that you intend on coming back to live, not just a stop over and then back out.

Plus grey imports generally don't have the same value as locally delivered cars and the trade will reduce their value accordingly.
