Admirial gave me a good quote this year just under £500 with 8k limited though be careful first quote they gave me as they did not understand CSL was for a standard M3.

Hope that helps

Mine's also with Admiral. No track day cover obviously ! Gives you 3rd party cover for driving other cars. I absolutely need this, so it's the one thing that stopped me going with CCI.

I moved one of my cars across to Aviva (who I believe underwrite the CCI policy anyway) to get third party cover. They used to insure the CSL before CCI and were quite competitive although no track day insurance.

I thought that all Comprehensive Insurance Policy's covered you to drive other cars 3rd party, with the owners permission.

As per above. I would check your insurers if you are not with CCI as you could get caught short. Mad really though as you cannot really drive any more 'dangerous' or riskier car than a group 21 BMW M3 CSL so what is the additional risk to them????

I used to insure with CCI for the csl and admiral for the m3 CCI were £605 this year and admiral £570,i rang CCI and they were really helpful and lowered price to £465 but wanted £765 to insure the m3 as i will be using it for commuting:mad: :banghead: So i tried classicline insurance and they will insure both for £721,so a no brainer really.
Dont get me wrong CCI are great and the track day cover is second to non but i will be doing more driver training courses rather than track days so i dont need the track cover next year.
SKY insurance were way high too.

+1 on classicline also found there quote very good, although on ringing Adrian Flux they beat it when I told them what I had been quoted by other companies...they offered exactly the same cover as Classicline, underwritten by equity red star I believe...

I found Adrian Flux alright on price but they are not very adaptable ie very bureaucratic so if you want any changes there will be admin charges for everything. I got fed up with it in the end and binned the policy.
