A relatively good comparative Vid, but what's with the manual CSL "which it had in the States" (big boob there no misprints in video).
2014 sees a turbo Straight 6 or V? Not sure where they are going with that one, fitting a Turbo when everyone else is fitting Superchargers, we'll have to wait and see.:thumbs:

Didn't like the SMG, the SMG was used to save weight, which was the object of the exercise, and no mention of the GTS, vid must be pre monster :supz:

Im not making excuses for him but he may be referring to the ZCP re being manual that they released to our friends across the pond, albeit its not a CSL. He should have know better thou :-D

Don't worry it's all of these driver experts pretending to be craftsmen. SMg is fab on track, infact it is brilliant. How many new race cars here days have manual boxes if they can have SMG instead.......


Next they'll be wanting carburettors back as well

+1 on the SMG comment also concerning the US Ver but How can you mix up the CS and the CSL imo totally different. If you are going to review a set of Cars and give a opinion one should make sure you know the subject.

Yes I think if BMW made this .... This would possibly be loved even more by BMW fans .... Like the Porsche fans and GT3

The M3 CSL was a show case for BMW Technology so has SMGII Drive Logic and helps bring a closer allegiance to BMW F1 team at the time BMW Williams F1

The aggression, speed and mechanical feel of the SMG CSL box suits the car down to the ground. Mine is pin sharp. The softer you are on the box the shittier the change. Drive it like you stole it and the box comes alive.:smt055

When driving fast SMGII is fun however not when going slow.
Manual is more fun more of the time in my opinion but I like them both honestly :-)
