On the continent, blasting through the Alps for sure......
But East LDN, in slow moving traffic...will be coming past my front door in Limehouse no doubt.

Horses for courses / each to their own, but I just don't get it.....is it me ? Can someone explain ?

Never understood what's so good about events like these. Sat in traffic in a drivers car. :banghead:The last thing I'd want to do. If I was coming down your way Ian it would be for a nice meal, night out and :partyman:.
And I'm not asking for a date with you.:smt055

Back in Jan 2006 I went on a Pistonheads Midnight Tunnel Run (before it became a restricted section on the forum). We met on Chelsea Bridge one evening and drove around London. Everyone was given a map on arrival. It was mental! So much fun. I think it was because of the variety of cars (and there were around 200 of us) which is why they are now organised on the quiet.
This was the thread and the cars which went - and a lot more on the night

Will see if I have any pics

I can see why they do it..... like minded car enthusiasts meeting up.
Its similar to us doing trackdays and meeting at the ring etc.
Not my thing, but as they say.. different strokes for different folks.

I went. Was good at the start seeing all the cars.
Maps given were small.
No postcodes for different stages would have been better.
Lots of roads closed off maybe by police.
Stuck in a lot of traffic.
Didn't make it fun.
Lots of people got lost.
Rules strictly state no drifting no burnouts stick to speed limits etc etc.
Lots of people with modified motors there.
In line house slots of cars making a good sound.
Heck a new shape VW Beetle sounded really gd albeit modified.
Main gripe for me was traffic and getting lost some of that an error on my part.
I never been before so was curious at least I can say i been.
