2bar boost

Today finally came round to picking up my SG 04 CSL...
After a night of anticipation the alarm was soon ringing to make my journey up to the north west via the excellent rail service that the UK has on offer
A 4am wake up call wasn't my idea of a good start to the day although I was hoping the route home would compensate :-D
After every train that I needed to board was late I arrived in Lytham to finally view and take ownership of the car that I had only seen in pics :smt004
I wasn't to be disappointed, the car was as described a perfect car to fill the void of being Evoless :smokin:
Some of you may know the car as it belonged to CraigT a regular poster on Mtorque, basically its an 04 car in SG with 44k on the clock and most of the important extra's..
Overall condition of the car on first impressions is spot on for a CSL of the year and mileage, interior almost blemish free which is a bonus to have nice and shiny carbon
It was a longish journey 280miles back down south, well for a tubby in them seats :smt044 which included the first dsc interuption around 5miles in
Not going to try and compare it against my old IX GT as they are different beasts, the CSL being a little down on power although more than enough for my lack of experience of RWD characteristics :hahaha:
Tbh it felt nicely damped over the various road conditions a little more compliant than the Evo and the pin sharp steering was very similar to what im used to.. Happy with the change in fact its nice to be in a car that feels every bit of it's nigh on £60k price tag..
But for me its the NOISE :prayer: :smt060 bring on the Supersprint :-D
Was nice to have fuel left after that length of journey, certainly gave me enough time to warm to the car and the SMGII :-D
Would recommend Scott Clayton @ Scott James/Lytham St Annes Saab, was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish helping me get into a well looked after CSL for a realistic price
