No bids, so re-listed for another week.
Another week has now past with no bids, and has again been re-listed (3rd time) for the same price

hi mate... excuse the odd first post.... seen these on ebay a few times... wondering if you can ask him if he'll accept 850 quid :-) think thats fair considering the "professional" repair needed on one of the rims....
is this guy a trusted person lawsy??? im hoping that flat section wont a) weaken the rim b) cause a vibration.
you have PM btw
byron.
p.s these will going on my supercharged z4m. :-) offsets are perfect for what i need :-) ideally would have loved a square setup but.... not often they come up on ebay.

Hello Byron
considering the "professional" repair needed on one of the rims....
The add states that a professional repair has been carried out on one of the rims, prior to refurb. Make him a direct offer via ebay he can only say no.

hi mate, meant to update this earlier.... no offer will be accepted for these under 999. When asked if the were free from vibration, i was told "ive never fitted these to one of my vehicles, they came from a e46 race car" But the refurb company said they run true.......Thats a large risk imo.
now im guessing to buckle a forged rim takes quite some impact, so i guess with that info.... i'll continue my search, :-) They would have looked awesome on my Z4m.

excuse my typo.... i am aware the repair had been carried out.... the flatspot stil remains on the lip however ;-) its pretty evident. A quick email to RAYs, they say their forged wheels aren't suitable for repair once they have been "compromised" as the emails wording goes.

There's your answer - no good for fast road or track use, you just wouldn't feel confident knowing that. Great pity but at least the guy was honest enough to say and indicate the flat spot.
That's a handy bit of info regarding the repair as the CSL wheels are also 'Drop Forged' so the same would apply.
Asking price, it's a bit like a 'Cat D' damaged repaired.
PS Have you recently come over from the 'Dub' side, there's a lot of it about in the West Midlands. :hahaha:

^^^^ i agree :-) i run my car pretty hard, mostly on sprint circuits so id rather not i think..... i agree however, very reasonable to disclose the details as such... ill stick with my CSLs. These RAys would have been great to drop some unsprung weight however and run a thicker tyre, my KW competitions need all the help they can get....lol

slightly lost on "dub" joke however, lol!!!!!
