so whats the crack with warrantys then

iv got a fully comp with £100 exs on it with my 04 CSL,

when are they going to stop giving us the warranty and is it going to affect the prices of these motors if they are not protected ?

or will they just bang up the cost of them ?

or will they just bang up the cost of them ?Warranty goes on till 100k miles, your premium will go up at 60k miles, unless you are on direct debit payment, but you can't stop the dd then start again,if you do the dd payments will also go up at 60k.;)

I could've sworn I read it was 10 year max but looking in to it that may not be correct. Sorry!

They can refuse warranty on any car but only written rule is no warrny after 100k miles unless one is in place already.

From that I'd say only way to go as you approach 100k miles is monthly DD as the policy continues forever. Annual policy renews every year so I think it would stop once mileage over 100k.

Thought one was limited to only the 'Driveline' warranty option at 100K mile and over, unless things have changed?

Thought one was limited to only the 'Driveline' warranty option at 100K mile and over, unless things have changed? You can still get the Drive line warranty after 100k miles, but it has a limit of £5000 in any one claim, which will cover most things, but obviously not a new engine.
