Right guys I ordered a few parts to tidy up the car, interior scuff plates, alloy wheel centre caps, csl badges on the side grills. Little things to Freshen it up!

So when chatting to the dealer it was interesting to hear the details held on their records about the car. It was £61k new, extras where high gloss trim, xenon lights with washers, single CD, floor mats, rain sensor and park distance control. That's nearly every option available, not sure if CSL drivers need a climate comfort front screen or a mini-disk player, what you think? Do the other options add or detract any value?

I was also interested to find out the car has only had the following replaced under warranty in its time:

1, Top Stop Mounts (not sure if the names right or what these are)
2, Relay Switch for Gearbox
3, Control Unit for Aircon
4, Reo Stut (again not sure if this is the right name or what it is)
5, Battery
6, Switch for Rear Window
7, Air Filter

Does this tell any kind of story? Would it indicate the car is a good one and hasn't needed much or broken down regularly, this was his un prompted opinion. Obviously there could have been plenty of work done privately but anyone in the position to have parts replaced in the first few years under a warranty would have without being out of pocket themselves.

I think it's impossible to tell on a car this age...

What's mileage ?

Has it always been warrantied ? If yes, agreed, major bits wouldve done under warranty which might mean trouble on way as notable omissions from above (clutch, SMG pump).....which obviously doesn't matter if still under warranty. If not under warranty, much could have been done by Indy so pot luck.

One things for sure......Get the subframe checked :)

Aye had it checked by Indy warranty inspector sent by Warranties Direct, he reckoned it was clean underneath and wasn't a concern.

I phoned Sytner who sold it to the previous owner and they had it warrantied when they sold it to him in 2009, then I just bought recently, so I assum its always had a warranty.
