My first record was Pistonheads Classified April 2011, a guy called Ian selling it at 34000 miles advertised for £24895, silver grey, no PDC, a/c or xenons mentioned.

Thanks for the reply Shimmy & Mark for the bump!
Shimmy - Did you get my pm from the day?
£24895 - would that not have been underpriced in 2011, given the mileage etc?
It has all those features too.
It was previously on reg CRB1
Cheers

Cheap car if it had aircon but the seller could have been looking for a quick sale ;)

I'm thinking it may have been stood for some time as the service history is hard to fathom.
No warranty on it at the minute, but I'd like to put one back on. I've had a quote from Mondial via the website.
However, I've read about "any longer than 2 years without a service and they wont put one on".
Is this true even if the car has not been driven?

It did 10k in 4 years after an inspection 1, then it had it's oil serviced.
All at BMW, but still to have an Inspection 2!

Ask the warranty company it should have an oil change every 2 years if it is not at its service shedule my csl had only done 500 miles in 2 years and it got an oil change to keep the warranty hope this helps

If you are unsure you are better asking them.
They fitted my new engine in my csl then asked for the service book to confirm it was done
Horse and gate came to mind when they asked for it :hahaha:
