Videos from the ring?

I read, that some of you just went to the ring (again) :thumbs:

I also was there on Aug, 13th. It was my second time, and the first time with the CSL.:drool:
(Well, actually it was my third time, but once I went down there and drive off with no laps because of some issues with the other car, but thats an other story..)
Unfortunately, I've got no camera to tape my laps.
Did you guys film your laps?

I really would love to see your laps, to recall this exiting experience riding a CSL on the Ring.

Best thing would be to upload them on youtube and post the link on here.
Can you also post the modifications you are running and your driver-experience on the ring?

Savage spot in fairness. Hopefully be back again next year. Went out with a friend in a R32 golf & two other friends hired a R26.R.

This was my first time at the ring done 42 laps over 3 days it was great
The camera is a sony dsc-t50 mounted in my sun visor

It was my third lap alright, It's the fast sections near the end that I'm not fully committing to. I'm not sure where the corners go over the crests:-D
I think my BTG time was around 8.30.

Camara I used was a Gopro Hero 2 mounted with 3m tape on the windscreen.

Here's my lap 8.15 did an 8.10 after this one but didn;t video it Doh!

I've been going to the ring for 5 years now, had only done 2 trips up to this video in the csl at the ring, but have drove them before on the track.

Bit of traffic but hard to get a clear lap or the cars in front to either move out the way or be in the right place for the overtake and not hold you up.

Car has Intrax Sus, Half Cage, Seats Harnesses, Standard engine. Forgot to add AP's front and rear, with PF Disc's and RS29 Pads.

That was a very good lap, not slow at all.

The first half is particularly good but as you say you backed off in the second half where you didn't know the track.

Thanks Barry. Here is another clip where I mounted the camara on the bumper & had an external microphone wired up near the airbox:-D

Ohh, that was a bit naughty with the Porsche at PF3.

Who's fault would that be?? I'm thinking the black car as you should drive on the right, overtake on the left. The black car came across and hit the Porsche :119:

althought there is only one lane so if the Porsche overtakes surely its his responsibility (in real life he was a muppet)
