Seems resonable to me....between 2 Euros and 20 Euros jump seems, ok the annual card is a bit of a jump though.

I'm still not going to go at Easter, far too busy!!! In my experience the track hardly ever opens after a VLN race. By the time they have cleared away the debris, marshalls have packed up, etc.

I think I'll go next Easter - it's always busy on a public full weeekend, but I quite fancy watching some VLN racing too :)

Why have they put it up........because they can I suppose.

If they are putting prices up, they should certainly be using profits to improve the place (instead of ploughing it all into the Southern GP Circuit modernisation):
1. Bigger and better laid out car parks for when it closes due to accidents, including that crappy muddy overflow field park.
2. More information screens, both at the entrance parks as well as at the popular viewing point at Brunnchen.
3. Basic seating at the main viewing areas and maybe even toilets and bins...
4. Sort the stinky drains and improve toilets at the entrance park!
5. Keep cars coming off the track seperate from cars joining the circuit - it's always chaos! :moan: :banghead:
6. Not sure if they could improve the track though - as it's awesome!
I will probably buy the annual ticket as i plan to spend a week there in summer as well as a few weekends in '09 and it starts to become cost effective if you definitely can use over at least 3 weekends @ approx 60 laps done... :smt023
Think i am going to buy and Annual Card! Think i will be having 3 or 4 trips over this coming year!
With the Annual Card could my mate go and do a few laps in his car with the card?

Is the annual card tied to you/your car?
If there are a couple of you, would it be worth going halfs on an annual card if it is unlikely that you be out there together?

It does happen but its risky - you'll lose your card if you get caught!
If memory serves me right, a few years back a Ferrari owners club turned up, bought a pass then simply took it in turns one after another to go out with it :hahaha: These days you have the transponder on your wrist which you swipe, and i wouldnt be surprised if they get an image up in the office of who's driving, though they'd be abit stuck if you had your helmet on :-D
I got the dates from one of the lads in my little group of ringers

There is a computerised random checking system in place.
You are supposed to carry your I.D. card with you in case you are stoped.
I was stoped a few times last year..... but then again I must have a bit of a dodgy / chav head on me !!!
The transponder / year pass is issued to the individual driver, not the car.
P.S .. you can also purchase a half-year ticket at the end of August, 28th I think.

I buy an annual pass and will do again next year but it would hurt a bit more with the drop in the pound as opposed to the increase in price............................................. .........................................unless you have an off shore Euro account.
