Hello Folks,

much appreciated.

There are different part numbers for E46 M3 & CSL, also CSL specific ones are £50 odd more expensive.
M3 KW V3 Part No: 35220023
CSL KW V3 Part No: 35220025
Maybe they have different spring rates or damping properties?

Also you should be able to find the serial number on your shocks if they are v3's, it's on the sticker, you can reconcile this back with KW (see attached pic of my old v3's which I sold 3 years ago)

My old ones had the following numbers:
353 20 207 Front Left
353 20 307 Front Rear
353 20 502 Left Rear
353 20 502 Right Rear (Though the sticker on this one was very faded).
They might have changed their part numbers recently, I bought mine in 2007 and sold them in 2009 so a fair while back, so they could have updated their range.
And yes, your springs should be progressive as far as I can remember, I like V3's good value suspension imho.
I have to say KW UK can be useless sometimes, you need to talk to someone in the technical department if you can get through.
Failing that pm Lawsy he deals with KW's he might be able to help you.

The V3 have different part no m3 to CSL. But the part no in catalogue is the kit rather than a single strut.
Clubsport are the same for M3 and CSL.
If you get nowhere I'll find out for you.

No, I bought them 2nd hand, they were 2 months old when I got them from the old M-Torque forum, as far as I know / was told mine were for a normal M3.
