Gents, just wondering how much the SMG pump and accumulator cost over on your side of the pond.
I know it's an expensive part, but the pricing here in NZ is simply ridiculous. Am not prepared to sell me kidney yet for one :-D:moan:
Part number 21 53 2 229 715
Cheers.
Ps. Already have pricing for getting one from the US of A so no need to point me that way.

Get a price from www.bmminiparts.com. I use them all the time to ship BM parts to Australia, Toby is very good.
Also I take it you are based in NZ and have a NZ delivered car? If so can you PM me as I want to talk to you about it.

Thanks for the link - it has been down since yesterday however - will keep an eye on it and perhaps get a quote.
I am indeed based in NZ with a NZ new car. Will PM you.

Hi Mark
All is well thanks. Collecting spares whilst the NZ$ is so strong :-D
Hmmm seems like it's slightly cheaper to source from the US of A for me at the moment (just under £1500)
What do you think about a sticky link in one of the forums where members can share where they buy certain parts for the car and at what sort of discounted pricing they get? Might help others in the future?

Hi Alex
Appreciate the offer - as per my reply to Mark above, looks like it's slightly cheaper to source from the USA for me at the moment - I am going to get shipping quotes and then compare.
Will definitely let you gets know if I need help!! HIGHLY APPRECIATE IT :beer:
