Track day insurance???

Just returned from Spa & at the last minute bottled it and took single day track day insurance @ cost of £301.00 with excess of £2800 with Competition car insurance

Planning on doing 3-5 days per year & wondering if anyone did a policy that covered a number of days or anywhere cheaper for single day, but not compromising the quality of the cover? :whistle:

CCI give you 5 UK track days per year of insurance. Not sure how it works with Europe ones though.

TDI is a must! Richard Eggar covered my old car for around 100 quid a go. It was only worth about 5k though. Now with CCI.

Just insured the CSL and the track M3 1000 quid for both! pretty good I reckon.

You must try CCI mate,I pay £450 a year with 5 trackdays,one of which can be a Euro day.Think I'm right in saying on trackdays the excess is 10% of the cars value.Its an Eviva policy.;)Just looked at my policy and the excess is £1000 + your voluntary on trackdays.;)

You also save 3% being a fully paid member on here and another 3% if you have done

That's a cracking deal! Is that a stand alone policy or do you have an road risk policy with them? I insured with them for spa 301 for the one day!

My CCI renewal has just come in, £20 less than last year every little helps and the trackday cover too :thumbs:

I got a quote from CCI, 3000miles per annum including 5 track days (one euro) How does my quote compare ?

I thought that was cheap considering I just pay £301 for a single day at SPA!!! :bigcry:

Seems strange that no one does a 'Just track policy' ? the road cover is a waste for me because I have a traders policy that covers the CSL. :banghead:

Careful witht the traders policy, I had one once and payout did not cover replacement of car they happy to take my money though :(

I know where your coming from bud, few friends in the trade have had a nightmare with certain insurance companies but im pleased to say ive had the same policy for just shy of five years and I did have to claim once & they were superb! :-D
