Shimmy You've got a good chance of winning that sprint. Remember no bacon
Butties, that bowl of special k could make all the difference.

I'm not sure on the entries but I think they'll be more this time and a wider Car Club involvement.....BUT......the flat track with good Tarmac should help.

I woke up at 5am, got up, looked out of the window and saw the rain coming down, thought about having to win a sprint in the wet on cold cups on wet circuit with no dry line, wet grass and barriers...and then I thought about letting my friends down who were already on their way.......and went back to bed.

Just woke up 10.35am and feeling great, Billy txt says its very slippy at Snett so I feel like the right choice was made (no insurance today).

Looks like Bedford How Fast might be needed :-D

Well, bit of a random Td. Arrived about 7.45am for signing in and a coffee before briefing.

Weather was fine, spitting slightly and track looked driveable.

Went to briefing and it was more like a networking event, approx 20 people.

Weather outside then was absolutely smashing it down. I decide to change to cups Wednesday night as weather for sat and Sunday looked fine, to arrive and drive.

On sighting laps must of been 10 or so cars. 4 of us just about competed them as on 5 parts of the circuit had standing water. Forget Silverstone this was worse.

The man in the dax gave up on sighting lap 2 and I just about completed the three. Max speed I reached was 60mph and front end grip on the cups was awful.

Clear dick matt then decides to put his pussys on and him and the gt3 also on
Road tyres were making good progress.

Rather than hope the weather will clear I decided to go out and take it easy.
First 6 laps were a nightmare then it stopped raining and track conditions changed
To favour me. Think I was on track for about 45 min, 30 min by myself as everyone else had been out previously.

Whilst the track was drying, the track still had standing water on the stArt of the main straight and just after the first corner.

Loads of offs by the same few people.

As the track was drying out the heroes started to come out.

Unfortunately a e46 m3 lost the back end whilst on full chat coming upto the
Pit straight on the standing water, he lost the back end just after
The turning for the pits and hit the pit wall then opposite barrier and ended up by the
Top of the pit entrance. Not a nice site, the driver is also ok.

This put things into perspective and mr gt3 and a couple of other decided to call it a day.

Early stop for lunch, it didn't rain for the whole hour and the track was dry.

So the cups came into play and made the day worth while.

For the rest of the day is pissed it down but with 6 cars wanting to
Play.

Me, matty, a very quick fiesta, Clio, some sort of nissan drift machine and vauxhall thing.
The Nissan must of one the medal for most spins and the ended up in the barrier
Last thing, luckily to only have bumper damage.

Myself and matt decided to see how poor the cups were in crap conditions, they
Weren't to bad putting power down on the straights but corner entry
Speed was a major factor, easily an extra 5mph through the corners.

Shimmy, good call your end as when I filled up with petrol the first time
They were having to pump the water off the track.

Matt, no hard feelings but every track day I boom with you it pisses it down.
