A nice fleece would be a good idea. But I imagine that to make the costs viable you would have to order quite a few.
See how well the polo shirts go and then see if there is demand for a fleece?

Looks good Neill. I like motifs to be subtle. I was just throwing designs around in my head how about incorporating the colours into CSL i.e. light blue C dark blue S and red L? Perhaps at a slight angle like the badge. I could mock it up on paint but I'm sure theres a whizz on here that would have it done in 1/2 the time it would take me!
CSLREGISTER.COM
sure, throw it up, and we will have a vote :-D

The only thing with having the car on it is it would have to be A1 quality otherwise it may look cheap and nasty. Otherwise, if someone could get the car on looking as good as that, it gets my vote.
We have kind of moved away from the simple stuff that was originally suggested at the beginning of this post though. :gayfight:

keep em coming, but all those would have to be printed rather than emboidered.
need to make it simple if you want stitching
Andyk
27-12-2008, 06:47 PM
The only way you would be able to embroider would be to do the outline the same as the Lotus Sport one on page 3...but then would you be able to tell the outline alrt from a standard 3...would need to pick up the CSL features..kicked up tail front splitters...not sure if it would work.

Right....been down the printer this morning and they seem like a very professional outfit....currently doing stuff for the Army and a number of other high profile businesses.
A Henby 100% rinspun cotton polo shirt will cost £20...this will go up or down depending on the polo shirt everyone wants, but this seems to be a quality item.
They will produce a swatch with the embroided logo which will be ready mid week....I will then take a pic and post so you can see what it looks like. The swatch costs £20 but thats for three logos (see below). The good thing is once the logos have been put on their system with the first order anyone from the forum can order what ever they want from the website...caps, mugs, polo, tshirt, sweat shirts, jackets etc......almost anything is possible and you only pay for the swatch once so it will be just the price opf the garment you want.
I have also asked for a sample polo shirt which I have paid for and will keep so at least I can post the finish product on the forum....I have asked for the logo on the left breast a smaller one on the back top middle (just under collar) and the motorsport colours with CSL wording on the arm (small).
Depending on make of Polo shirt sizes go from Child to XXXL and any colour you want...so if we to order from them you do not have to have black you can pick what you want....I have ordered Navy for myself.
Anyway will keep you all posted.

Cheers Bryce.
Looks like Neil will be able to get better quality polo's for a better price and the work that his contact has done looks brilliant so have past over to Neil.
I did see the first sample today, from the printers, and asked them to make some changes as wasn't happy...they said that this was the norm on the first sample. Should get it back by end of week.
Prob with our design is that once you make it smaller you loose some of the detail/clarity....but lets see what they come up with then myself and Neil can compare samples......Must say though that Neils mate looks like the choice.
Will keep all posted.

Thats why I ask them to do it again as the tail wasn't prominent enough and thats the one distinctive feature thats sets it apart.

There will also be a small 3-stripe logo on the sleeve (ala berghaus type but M stripes) The bumper isnt a different colour, it is raised slightly for effect ive been told. It also has a slight bonnet bulge like the real thing. These are being done by a car enthusiast who knows what a CSL is and he said the only thing missing is the CSL letters from the side grill :-D
