Just had my front AP brake kit fitted & after a few miles the Traction control light has come on & the same light that comes on when the handbrake is on but amber & not red

Does anyone know what the problem may be? :bigcry:

Think thats the wheel sensor, probably been knocked as you have had new AP's fitted.

Just to add to the above, whatever it is it won't cause you any problems, but you won't have any DSC - it'll be fully off.

The systems complain because they take data from whichever sensor is down.

Have you checked your brake fluid level?

Check the plug on top of reservoir also.

Checked level all ok. Could it be the fact ive put a set of standard 19inch E46 M3 wheels on for the track? it has only flashed up since i put them on :banghead:

Try the pull both gear selection levers trick as its got new rims on.

Its either drive at 30 or 40mph, stick in neutral then hold both levers for 10 sec's then back in gear.

I had traction problems when changing from TD rims to normal CSL's with road tyres but it sorted itself out after a few miles.
