Need some Cams, got any?

Hey Up,

My inlet cam has worn out???? :banghead:

Seen a pic only from the garage at the ring and they recommend changing both, going out for the 24h this weekend and planned a trip out next weekend to drive.

Going to see it sat morning and see what the craic is, about getting some, but wondered if anyone had a pair sat in the garage that ain;t fooked!;)

Has anyone got any or know where a supplier in the uk might have some, none in the uk at BMW, 7-10 days from Germany, going to try and find a dealer near the ring and see how long they will take to get them.

Bl00dy expensive too inlet £765 or something and Outlet £550 or there abouts, so best part of 1300 for the pair!

Put schrick 280/288 standard lift cams in, you will also need to replace rockers no doubt as they will be worn, go for some DLC ones from schrick as well...they are a very good upgrade....you can buy them from turner motorsport in the states or just search online for cheapest supplier....

No need for remap...bollocks etc:-D

Ando, didnt see this until too late mate, Tom Schirmer had a set of OEM that he swapped out for Schricks, they only had about 3000 miles on them, he was asking about £ 300 for them, he down the road in Kelberg... shame that ..

Andowell that little wind up didn't work then !! Glad its fixed, or getting fixed mate. End of June sounds a plan mate, even if others aren't going ! You could have borrowed the Broom for this week end mate ! Just in Portsmouth getting Ferry to Bilbao later.
