Steve
RS42 are road pads like DS2500
DS3000 are hard track pads like RS29 and PF01. BUT. full of iron so heavy on discs and masses of dust created. I would avoid both TBH.

Steve, are these for the fiesta, give Ian @ Carbotech a call, he will get you hooked up to great great pads. Im running carbotech, I rate them better than the Pagids etc. I killed my pagids.

Shane yes they are for the fiesta, spot on Shimmy about discs not lasting long with 3000's!! Not bothered about the dust, 3000 pads don't last long either....
I can't find any other options.... Not worth having anyway. I will give Ian a bell but there's not many manufacturers that will do a pad for the older cars :bigcry:

spoke to Ian and they need my old backing plates and it could take up to a week for them to sort. Need a spare set for the weekend :(
Mintex do road pads just checking availability on some race pads
1155,1166,1177 I presume 1177 and the hardest. With the time I've left myself it looks like 3000's for now as next day from Demon Tweeks....
why do I always leave things to the last minute :moan:

Buy a cheap set of pads and send them to Ian for next round. He will tell you what to go for...xp 8, 10, 12 etc. I imagine he will say 8 or 10 because the car is so light. They will literally throw you through the window. Our kid had them on his e30 and they didnt ever wear out. :-D
Ive just taken delivery of some all round for my CSL for in the Alcons

He said 8's would do £160 plus the usual delivery a few quid but I'm sure they will be worth it

We've just fitted DS3000s to a striped e30 325i.
They seem perfect for it - certainly haven't managed to get them to wilt on track.
That said, would agree with the comments on dust. I'd fit them to a track car (washing after every time it goes out) but wouldn't fit them to a road car.
