Hi all, I'm Alvin from Adelaide, South Australia. Just bought a 2003 Steelgray CSL (one of 22 delivered to Australia) that has only done 1415 kms from new!
Mine has the following options :
Factory A/C
option 231 - vmax down control deletion aka speed delimited.
New to E46 M3s but have always been a BMW fan albeit older cars!
Original owner of the car was residing overseas and had the car stored for first 6 years with a mechanic and car was run 15kms a week on the dyno to keep things moving.
Car is in timewarp showroom condition and is currently in transit from Melbourne to Adelaide! Looking forward to contributing to this forum!

Welcome to the boards Alvin and that does sound like a mega car you have there, what's your intentions with it? Keep it as is? Run it as a normal car? Track it? Worship her?

I will definitely be driving her but probably once a fortnight or so! I'm a bit of a collector of rare BMWs and this CSL will be joining a few other rarer bimmers! Having said that, there definitely will be the occasional track day hence the suggestions of AP brakes are something I'm contemplating!

So you bought that one. I was talking to the owner before he sold it (dirt cheap). Also BMW Australia imported 27, 22 is incorrect.

I've had all sorts of feedback ranging from 22 to 27 officially imported cslsinto Oz! Unfortunately not getting much feedback from BMWAustralia!

No only the Classic Adl and even then not the competition as I didn't want to go as far as roll cages. Just took part in the classic tour and thoroughbred tour events.

You might be able to do the touring section, but I don't think the CSL is eligible for competition because of the low build number?
