Excessive oil level

I recently top up the oil of my CSL with 0.5 litre of Castrol edge as I read "+0.9" on the on board computer. It was clearly a mistake as this is an optimal oil level.
Now it reads +1.1 L. In theory it should stay btw 0.5 and 1.
Do you think this is excessive? Could it create any problem with the engine?

+0.9 means its 0.9 ltrs above min which is fine if you have added 0.5 its currently 0.4 ltr overfilled - will read +1.1 as this is the highest the gauge reads .

Ideally drain 0.5 ltr out .

or take air box off and do a dip stick read as computer oil reading is unreliable piece of shite :-D
