Things I haven't heard about, is this really correct??????? I know this has been beaten to death. So I was a bit surprised seeing this list:

http://www.ca-at.co.uk/items/M3VsCSLSpecDifferences.JPG

Stand outs:

Different transmission ratios (final drive 3,620: vs 3.89:1)
Thinner fuel tank walls
Smaller capacity fuel tank
Sports brake linings
Ball instead of rubber bearings (uniball joints) (uh, where??)
Extra thin glass on side windows
Aluminum engine compartment (uhh, what??)
Thinner steel body panels (really, no!!??)
Lightweight dash top

As above

the fuel tank is the same as the normal M3 one.

All of them are wrong.

for the list check here -> http://clubcsl.com/index.php/m3csl/6-m3-csl-differences

Has not the thinner rear windscreen not been missed off the 'official' list. I may of course be wrong on that but thought that was why the car was not approved for sale in the US.

Thinner rear screen only, as Alex mentioned.

Reason for US issues where emmisions and something to do with front carbon bumper crash structure or maybe bumper packs???? Can someone clarify?
