Personally, being fussy with a advert like that id be worried. Nothing about service history, has it had inspection II early or does it need one, does it have full BMW service history or warranty, will it need discs and pads?

Plus for me, dirty floor matts put me right off, id off wiped the engine bay over to make it look mint, also not sure what hanging from the passenger side dash?

At that price it should be mint with warranty and need nothing.

But find out some more info.

This is a valid point, you will be able to take out BMW/Modial warranty on this car but due to it not being serviced every 2 years any claim on anything quite pricey they will probably decline.

Is that true about the warranty? I called and asked (specifically because of this add), and was told that there can't be more than 2 years between servicing. Can never be sure with these info lines....

Defiantly something odd about the car....I called and the bloke selling it, who seemed pretty clueless. He eventually answered all my questions....but jeeze it took some time. He claims to be selling it for a friend, but who has a low milage csl, and palms it off to a mate to sell who doesn't know anything about these cars. Was put off by the fact that it has been garaged for quite a while without servicing, and the cond of the engine bay. Whats all that white chalky corrosion?

May well be a diamond on the rough...... Who knows.

I sold Bealos, that wasn't dodgy :wink:

Maybe the owner orbs offshore or abroad. Not uncommon for CSL owners
