Export to USA/Canada?

Morning all,

I've had a chap asking me about importing to USA/Canada and if I know of any problems.

As far as I know the CSL wasn't sold in the US but was this due to emissions? Does it depend which state he imports it to?

Any advice appreciated and perhaps the safest way to get paid in due course :)

Montoya should know, he has the only original csl in the states.

Not sure on the rules with importing a CSL to the states but as regards getting paid, don't put the car on the boat until the cash is in your hands. simple

Hi,

You will not be able to officially ''Export'' a CSL
into the States for another 16 years
on the 25 year rule.

The CSL has no way of obtaining Federalisation
into the USA as it was never sold there.

As for the Montoya Car, there are 1000's of
Grey Market Cars in the States, but
not a lot of use if you want to drive it
on a daily basis.
