Guys, Not wanting to start a Willy Waving contest as I've only ever done 5 laps of the place and it does scare the shite outta me, but I was just wondering what sort of BTG times have been achieved.
I know the official is a 7.50 on the full track but quite a few of you seem to of done a few trips now so I'm just interested whats possible.
A good friend of mine has been attending the ring for quite few years in different cars & is debating moving to a CSL so he has curious interest also.
As I said, just interested what you guys have managed, Im no ringer :smokin: :gayfight: But I am interested, Matty.

Regular low 8 minute BTG is quite doable when the Nordschleife is quiet  8:10 was my best timed lap time, timed by a friend without my knowledge as I don't time myself and that was with some TF traffic :banghead: I've driven better, smoother laps then that one but I doubt I've cracked the 8 minute barrier, yet.
TF traffic is quite horrific these day (Easter & Bank Holiday weekends) and it's near imposible to get a clear run :bigcry:
TANKSLAPER (T$) on here frequently pisses off the GT3RS crowd ;) with high 7s :supz: with light TF traffic :smokin: and it's hard work trying to keep up with him :bigcry:

whopwop would be very quick around the ring too and his buddy vanos power is seriously quick. They've been known to catch and pass ring taxi's:thumbs:

You can really feel the love in here......
Thanks for the info guys, 7.50 is bloody quick as far as I'm concerned.
I did do a couple of laps last year but was prob a minute thirty over that as I ain't got a clue where I'm going.
I'm heading over at the end of March for a TF day before a trip to spa but I really fancied trying one of the DN days in October but this year it's not to be due to work.
Appreciate the responses and thanks for the info Mattnut

I never time myself, one of the first promises I made to my body, the lap is what it is at the time, be it fast, or slow, traffic or yellow flags, albeit that AFTER the laps/day, I can review my times.

Nope, Daz was a pussy:blalalala: so took the uprated Clubsport springs out and fitted softer springs as his was used daily. They were bottoming out and the tyre was rubbing like crazy. I couldnt take the carousel more than 25, it was bad.
