Thanks for the welcome mate :)
Before this it was a focus RS which i was awsome. Loved the handling for a front wheel drive car

then an Skyline R32 GTR. This had a big single turbo and about 500hp, huge turbo lag then all the power at once, scared the crap out of me,Sold this quite quickly to be honest. Acceleration made by brother feel sick in his stomach. Here she is

after that i bought an R34 GTR as i fancied more on the skyline theme. had this one for a while, was stock apart from the exhaust. went really well and not much turbo lag cause of the twin turbos. Finally saw it drive away on wednesday, quite sad to see it go. Here is a pic of it

Always fancied a CSL and just decided to take the oppertunity to drive one. fell in love instantly, deposit was put down. Just love the interior and the carbon fiber and the whole feeling of the car. Nice place to be.
James.

Welcome to the board - not been long on here myself :smokin:
I was toying with getting an R34 whe i sold my Evo - opted the M3 route which was nice but not quite there, after that went for a test dive in a CSL and was smitten :smt055

Thanks for the kind welcome guys :)
Jaw F430, i went for the Grey Silver 39500 mile one. Its £28,995, its the fifth CSL on his stock web page. Looks to have been very well looked after and interior looks lovely condition. There was a black one that looked lovely but my R34 was black so fancied a change in colour.
Cetainly looking forward to that noise everyday :smokin:

Top buy  I test drove this one and couldn't fault it. It is a very tidy car. Have you took the warranty out on it?
You will have tell me how it compares to the RS when you get it as my brother has an RS. Not letting him drive my CSL :hahaha:

Welcome to the fold! It's an amazing car and I bet that this week can't pass quickly enough.
Believe me, youtube clips will help a little but you'll struggle to sleep.
Really rate the Focus RS and the R34, very impressive cars both. I'm sure you'll find it a different challenge in RWD N/A in comparison.
You'll struggle to decide what to replace it with when the time comes - hopefully that'll be a long way off. ;-)

Thanks guys.
The revrant- Focus RS was a more focused and cuckable car than the R34, that was larger. Problem with it was that with the 4 wheel drive and steering it felt a bit clinical, couldnt feel the road through the steering.
Jaw F430- Nice, did seem really tidy inside and out. all the alacantara looked new, will be taking out the warranty out aswell. I have a robert stern close to me where il take it. From the first experience with the car it felt very much like the focus. Very pointy, gocart like. except in the CSL all the power is there without any lag. This was quite bad in the RS and the torque steer was quit scary. Very much looking forward to the end of the week now
Think it will go slowly though...

lol yeh, want to go into hibernation until its time.
The RS was slightly standard. had a decat, titanium exhaust, new manifold and an uprated ECU. all i did to the body was fitting those cosworth vents.
Love the way the CSL is perfect as it is. (for me anyway lol)

Hope you enjoy the car. Funnily enough i've been looking at the Nissan R34s, would be interested in your comparison thoughts once you've had the CSL a while...

Nice. Got a mate who has a cooper s, Nice bit of kit. What have you had done on yours mate?
It isn't an early mini its one of the BMW ones and I have fitted:
15% Supercharger pulley
4-1 race manifold
John Cooper Works air box with flap that opens at 4500rpm
John Cooper Works GP intercooler
Uprated newman camshaft
Custom ECU tune (done via the internet from America)
The ultimate performance cylinder head (inlet and exhaust ports opened up to the limit, oversized inlet and exhaust valves, Titanium retainers, custom locks, keepers and dual valve spring so the valvetrain is capable of revving up to 10,000rpm) My rev limit is set to 7600rpm up from about 6500rpm
Syntol Racing oil (made 8bhp on back to back dyno runs for the same grade oil)
One grade cooler spark plugs
ARP head studs
Lower wishbones and engine mounts polybushed
170bhp 162ft/lbs standard and after mods north of 275bhp 215ft/lbs
Stock 1/4 mile= 15.6ish@88mph
Modded 1/4 mile 13.7@104mph
