Ive got a set of nearly new V70, but as I love my Michelin I am loathed to try them unless someone tells me they work!

Anybody driven them in anger (Matt, you don't count :) )

you said that was between you and I:birdman:

anything would improve that performance:bigcry:

seriously tho, if all you do is drive on cups then i think they would improve your knowledge of how your car performs, so when you go back to cups you might be a bit betterer:blalalala:

I use the Kumhos on my track E36. Nearest thing to cups I've tried (actually they're better in the wet) and good value. Better then Yoko 48s and Toyo 888s.

Thank you.

The shape is very different to Cups, they have very square edges :smokin:

I have used two sets of V70 medium compound and I am still using them.
Great value for money!
My V70 lap times are the same with cup lap times.
The only disadvantage is that after 5 fast laps , V70 start to lose their efficiency. But 5 laps are enough for the car. So it's not a really problem.

THanks, sounds like you may need hard ones for long stints on track.

I've tried the medium and hard Kumhos, mediums lasted one track day and overheated, hards did two track days and two ring trips no problem.
