Yes - they require that you are part of a club of some sort. My CSL Register membership counts (I haven't told them that I still can't see the full range of sub-forums... Apparently access to the Men's Room is not a pre-requisite of qualifying for CCI cover).
CCI have been really excellent and really seem to understand that we look after these cars while still driving them as intended.

In my experience (with CCI, who seem good so far although I have not needed to claim)...
Mention away, but I expect they will ask whether cslregister is a club having paid membership (as opposed to a free forum). I got a bigger discount on my CSL insurance using my Porsche Club GB membership - seems it doesn't matter what the club is, as long as you have to pay to belong. They asked for proof (photocopy of my membership card).
Cheers, Richard.

No just a print out with the word Member next to your username. People who have donated to the site basically
Also discounts for BMW Car Club, lotus car club and if you've been on an andy walsh car limits day

I have found Livingstones Broker very good & used them for many years. CCI must have changed as 3-4yeard ago they did want to know, or I spoke to the wrong person.

Just given CCI a call as my renewal is up at the end of January - unfortunately, they won't cover business use which I need as I occasionally commute to more than one site :(
Pity as the 6 trackday cover would have been dead handy.

LOL I wish!
Aviva renewal came in at £994 and the Meerkat came up with Thames City Insurance (Who?) and Sheila's Wheels :hahaha: but I don't think I'll be going that route!
Cheers,
Phil

Out of interest CCI came in at £800 with 5 trackdays if I restricted it to SDP & Commuting only and 7500 miles.
When Aviva (Porsche scheme from previous car) rang I told them £994 was too much and they reduced it to £830 for 8000 miles per year and 2 trackdays but at full Business Class 1 use which is best for me.
Edit to add, The Porsche Aviva scheme includes 'driving other cars' as well which the CCI one annoyingly doesn't! Can't say I recall using it but nice to know it's there.
Cheers!

Good move, CCI is an Aviva policy as well.
Would be even more good if they offered a 3rd party tf bonus!

Pazuzu - was the Aviva through Porsche club or something?
Just got my CCI renewal through and as you say they can't give Biz anymore which is no good for me either.

It's Porsche Insurance via Marsh Private Clients - 01462 428000.
I had a 911 previously so they offered renewal but I'm not sure if they'd take new non-Porsche business. Worth a call though as they are a good bunch.
As you say, the business use element and driving other cars won for me because I'll only do a couple of track days probably. If it was more then it would swing back to CCI.
Rhys Sellwood sorted my renewal out.
Cheers,
Phil
