To be fair Shim, Mandrell and co are overpriced on lots of the cars they sell. Thats about 4k too dear.
NJ's car- I have done sub 1k before in a car in a year. Lots will have a CSL as a second car, so it COULD be feasible.

looking at the prices, this is over priced even with the "extras" Shimmy have you got any History on this car a year ago ie posts etc. I have been in convo with them and started the process of getting the price lowered to a more acceptable range and any more ammo will always help.
Its one of three that I have my eye on though its well over what price it should be set at! and what Lawsy says about them backs up my research on what price is expected etc.

Over priced, under priced, the only thing that matters is what the buyer pays.
I wonder if I had £250k spare and bought he 10 best CSLs for sale, and released one at a time and bought again, what would happen to prices, and if the £250k investment would be a good one?

Is that not what NJ has been trying to do?

When I put some decent rubber on the back that is. Brick hard heat cycled too many times cups, are not best for cold and damp conditions on hard rear springs. Still cant believe how twitchy the fucker was:banghead:

How true. I remember being advised not to buy a 964RS for £18k some years ago. Will drop in value like a stone, too harsh for the road, etc. now look at the prices. :bigcry:
Still very happy with the csl, who needs pork.

Agree, its only worth what a buyer will pay for it..
i assume it will sell for far less than that, but good luck for trying.

That would have been some bargain. Never remember seeing 964 RSs that low, even for LHD. Saying that, they don't seem to have moved from their current level of £60-70k for a good while now either. 996 RSs keeping them honest?
Remember them getting slated by the press when new alright, with the exception of Brian Laban in Performance Car. I have to be honest and say that I'd swap the CSL for one in a flash if funds permitted

A few years back now when the £ was very strong against the German mark. Ended up importing a M3 instead of the 964RS. No complaints as at least I could get the golf clubs in the boot, or cases of wine when touring abroad.
