Haha. Well, Peter's Sister, Silvy has joined in... Seems they like to keep it in the family as they both owned one.. or did they share? could they be one and the same.. her plaque showed her car was number 218... Shimmy.. Detective cap on! I may ask you to check the register soon and fleece out these imposters!:hahaha:!

ok.. so the latest...

"yes he is my brother and we both had one each, black ones. I dont understand why yours doesn't have the model number on the on the plaque. I have just looked them up and ours were slightly different. On the top line where it say BMW M3 CSL, the actual model number - 218 in my case and 202 in my brothers case was next to that on the right and was etched in so not sure whats going on there. We did go to Germany to buy ours directly from BMW though so dont know if that is the reason."

I think I am smelling a massive heap of BS!

Don't know how I have become so embroiled in this all lol.

There are numerous photos online of the plaque, even on Ebay now and again when Mark is selling one, so it's easy to see what an original plaque looks like.

Some good posts there Lesa with a lot of thought gone into them. I can't get on to comment now for some silly reason, I'm sure others will though. Eegits, so they are.

7000miles out of rear cups? That's serious faggy driving!

I reckon its BS Barry. See my updated post. They had one each.. both went to Germany, both had numbers on the plaque... have asked for last 3 numbers from their plates to see if Shim can look them up.

P.S In Internet Explorer it wouldn't let me comment, but Google Chrome does

Maybe getting the plaque confused with chassis number details ?

DuncanR
02-12-2011, 09:09 AM
Quite possible that they did both get CSL's reading other posts, Silvy runs around in a nice Merc, and her brother posts in another thread that she worked her ass off to establish one of the countries finest advertising agencies responsible for most of the TV adverts seen today ....so there !
And if they are reading this ... nice avatar Silvy !...its the nicest one Ive ever wished to cum across !;)

Love VBH

She so wanted me when she was in a 250 California in CW sat outside Lehman Bros when I worked there in early 2000's. Threw me a wink and I nearly hopped in with her, but had an urgent recruiting meeting so had to pass.
