I competed in my first sprint only tuther week and it was awesome.

How about we get a gang of us to attend the full sprint series and have our own csl sprint leader board.

We can use the MLR's sprint series, see how fast we can be compared to the evo boys, but more importantly compete against eachother, a level playing field.

Its the cheapest form of motorsport, minimal tyre wear, minimal brake wear etc etc minimal fuel useage, but above all great great fun.

Would any of you guys be interested?

Have you gotta link Lawsy to their 2011 calendar and table?

If I remember right they dont do the tracks I know (which is a bugger):smokin:

But snett 200 was on the calender this year and it is next year too.

I do highly recommend it though.

Trouble with MLRSS Lawsy is that CSL won't be competing against any Evos.....I think they are class G invitation so they'd have to be a few of us to make it interesting (where the fuck is Ingliston?)

My bus partner in his brothers mini beat loads of evos.

I will be faster in my Csl at tee side purely due to the boost issues I had and I finished in top 15, out of 50 entrants.

There was a few rwd cars too, Tvr, m3, even an mx5 supercharged, there were 15 cars in class g

It's much more fun than trackdAys too

The format also seems to give you kore time than local car club sprints. I went to a few this year and you get very little track time on Car Club ones

How many runs/minutes did you get Lawsy and cost?

Usual format is 8 practise, 8 timed runs. Last one was £120.

Only reg for class G, is a valid MOT. You obviously just need a helmet too

(where the fuck is Ingliston?)

This is what Ingliston looks like mate, used to be a great little track but was taken over years ago by the Mart and was closed then divided up into square sections for agricultural shows :(

Only really used for the MLR sprint and a group of us hire it once a year for some tail out fun.

I won't be doing any racing in 2012 so I was looking at MsA car club sprints. I think if I do anything it might be one or two of these MLRSS kocally and one or two local MSA sprints.

That way I don't have to be away too long at weekends.

I'd love to but the 100 circuit will be new to both of us! - well I might know two corners..........:smt055

Would it be better to do Time Attack instead as you get proper circuits (and run off) For MLrSS they are all a bit mickey.

time attack is a controlled tyre, which you must buy through certain outlets. They are stamped TA. They are not cheap and only shitty pirelli road tyres.

Plus its expensive to run in it, you can do a one hit wonder, (OHW) but even that is a good few £.

I am contemplating doing Oulton or Anglesey as OHW, but you would still need to buy the pirelli tyres.

If you want to do more than one event then I'm certain you pay the full season upfront.

I am also sure you need, fuel cut off, battery isolation, and fire ext too.

I will do some digging and find out.

This sounds interesting......
maybe not this year as spent a lot of my budget already with euro track days.
But this sounds like the kind of thing that id like to get into, particularly as on weekends......
Am sure could run the cs in the same category?
