Why? As probably seen in other threads I need to get my DB lower as id ideally like to do Bedford TD as its only up the road.
Ive got supersprint cats, unsilenced centre pipe and lightweight race smashing out 108db when hot.
So I want to get this right first time:
Im either going to buy Supersprint resonated centre pipe or oem centre pipe.
Or is the difference between the two very little?
Shimmy did you say yours with resonated centre pipe was 102db?
What do you lot recommend?
Thanks in advance.
Billy

BillyI just got an ex Shimmy SS back box on mine, and I reckon thats about borderline, I reckon the air induction at full chat will set the sensors off at Bedford, as I got pulled last year for it.

It's the 100 cell cats that do it. I have std cats, SS resonated centre and SS lightweight BB and it's fine just about everywhere. When I had 100 cells it put it over plus I didn't like it so took it off very quickly.
I find Bedford very fussy on noise though. Best to be on the safe side.

I've got the same as Dunc, SS lightweight race BB only and it's fine. Never had it on track with it so don't know the dB levels. It's definitely a quieter exhaust than the Milltek I had before, eeeeeek!

I have had
1. SS race lightweight bbx, OEM centre, 100 cell cats - never over Bedford limit static or DriveBy
2. SS race lightweight bbx, SS resonated centre, Larini cats - passed at Bedford last Saturday both static and DriveBy
Woppum had from new SS race lightweight bbx, OEM centre resonated, 100 cell cats and he did Bedford about 4 times and the last time got pulled on DriveBy noise (right on the limit)
My recommendation is to leave your 100 cell cats in for the 5bhp :smokin:, keep the race bbx and buy a standard OEM centre section (CSL one) and loose the drone and easily get on at Bedford UNLESS your bbx is fooked hence the 1200000000000000dB

I am looking for unsilenced SS centre pipe.
So Billy if you would like an OEM centre section I will be here

Looking at Rob's exhaust configuration it sounds like the Supersprint cats are causing all that extra noise on Billy's CSL

I ran 100 cell and SS race lightweight with no issues
Do centres section first, cheaper, no drone, no brainer:thumbs:

What Shim said... it's your least expensive option and you should get good money back for the Supersprint middle pipe if you decide to sell it on. Win Win
