Got it Back

Took the long drive back up to Elms Cambridge early yesterday morning to pick up the CSL after its warranty work.A big thankyou to Gareth [M technition]& Emma [service] for all their help and for letting me know what was happening through out the week.:thumbs:It was a bit of a struggle at one stage as it needed a new SMG Hydro pump,but according to the BMW parts depot there was not one in the UK or Germany and i would have to wait for BMW to get one from the OEM[Mannesmann Sachs]which may have been weeks.Myself and Emma didnt give in and managed to get the last one available,it was being sent back to BMW because a dealer no longer needed it.So one quick phone call later and it was on its way to Elms.:beer:The CSL is as it should be again now.Thanks again,Brett.;)

Hi mate to be honest if its to do with the pump or SMG system then a fault read should show up something to work with , if no faults stored chances are its a internal gearbox fault . Give Emma a call and book it in and i will take a look for you :thumbs:

Mine had same Dunc nearly 3 years ago, Murketts found swarth in box as thought syncromesh was destroying itself and changed gearbox for me
Only had 3no bad changes 3-4 gears :clown:

I videoed it missing the gears which seems to do the trick (dya want to borrow my video?)

Dunc has it on vid at croft when he was chasing me.

I have just sold a good pump as well- oops, maybe I should have kept it.
