okay, long story short - this is a top mount stud that came off the KW Competition kit - it was stripped by a faulty torque wrench and I've searched high and low to try and find a replacement locally here in NZ (I have seriously called and emailed EVERY SINGLE shop and supplier in NZ that might stock something like this and NOBODY, absolutely NOBODY has one - it's like a one off item).

I've emailed KW but they've not being particularly helpful with their payment method (wire transfer only) - so by the time I did all that this pesky bolt would have costed me over 25 euros .... fxck that ...

I've also emailed KW UK and a local KW dealer in NZ and Australia and no one has responded to me or have been able to help.

Can a member on here with access to high tensile strength fastener help out (or better still someone that lives near KW UK directly and see if they have one in stock) - I only need bloody one (what a nuisance).

Pics of the offending item - it's an M8 35mm 10.9 high tensile stud made by Tigges

On my first KW kit, one of these bolts was damaged from factory.

I just fitted a 8mm bolt, that was over 3 years ago, its been perfect all this time.

Temporary measure for you.

Yep have a temporary measure in place - it's not really that big of deal, but I like to have the kit in good up keep and proper hardware.

Have heard back from Richard at KW UK just now ...

so hopefully something will be sorted soon - at least they have visa facility and are willing to pop it in standard mail for me!!

Cheers lads.

I always meant to sort it myself, but as it caused no issue I just forgot.

Right let me bump this back up ... it seems neither KW Germany nor KW UK want my money.

Anyone able to help?

Might as well grab a couple of spares whilst I am at it ... so I guess 5 for good measure?
